Happy 4th of July!
Washington, D.C.,
July 5, 2017
Dear Friend, Happy Independence Day! As you all know, the 4th of July is a time for us to celebrate our nation's history and culture with our friends and family. From family reunions, to barbecues and spectacular fireworks displays, this is truly a day to celebrate what it means to be an American. It is also a day for us to take a moment to thank all the brave men and women who have served our country, both overseas and at home. We wouldn't be able to enjoy all of the freedoms that we hold dear were it not for the sacrifices of so many Americans. Please take a moment today to thank a service member for all they do! In New Hampshire, our motto is "Live Free or Die," which resonates especially on the 4th of July, when we join together to reaffirm our country's independence and freedom with those most important to us. I hope you are all able to get outside and celebrate with loved ones today! Happy Independence Day! |
