Nashua, N.H.,
May 12, 2017
(Nashua, NH) – Today Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) visited with participants at her Jobs and Opportunity Fair in Nashua. The two-day event featured employers from a variety of industries, including health care, manufacturing, social services, and hospitality. In addition to helping Granite Staters network with employers, the Jobs and Opportunity Fair connects underemployed constituents with training programs to develop new skills. “While the economy in New Hampshire is continuing to grow, there is still more work to be done,” said Congresswoman Kuster. “Events like this Jobs and Opportunity fair are a good opportunity for Granite Staters to connect with local employers or learn about options for training programs if they wish to pursue work in a new field. I extend my thanks to all the great employers who took part in this event, and I look forward to continuing to work to encourage economic growth and job creation in New Hampshire.” Since taking office, Kuster has prioritized efforts to foster job creation, grow the economy, and ensure job seekers have the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century economy.
