Tilton, N.H. — Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) honored Veterans Day at the New Hampshire Veterans Home with Granite State servicemembers and their families. Kuster, the daughter of a WWII veteran and POW, thanked the brave men and women for their service and sacrifice and spoke to them about their priorities. Kuster also delivered cards made by students at the Christa McAuliffe School in Concord, thanking veterans for their service.

“Our New Hampshire veterans and their families represent the best our state and country have to offer. It is so important that we give them the recognition and support they have earned and deserve,” said Kuster. “Thank you to all the veterans and families who spoke with me today at the NH Veterans Home – it’s the honor of my life to bring their voices to Congress and to fight for our veterans and servicemembers. Today and every day, we remember their service and honor their sacrifice.”

The daughter of a WWII veteran and POW and former member of the Veterans Affairs Committee, Kuster is a fierce advocate for New Hampshire veterans, service members, and their families in Congress. She has led the charge on efforts to honor Gold Star Families, end veteran homelessness, expand access to quality health care, and more.

Any veterans living in New Hampshire’s Second District who are in need of assistance can contact Kuster’s office for support by calling her Concord office at (603) 226-1002 or visiting https://kuster.house.gov/.
