Concord, N.H. — Congresswoman Annie Kuster issued the following statement in recognition of Memorial Day 2024:

“On Memorial Day, we reflect on the tremendous courage and bravery of our men and women in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation, as well as their families and loved ones.

“Our fallen service members represent the best our country has to offer, and we owe them and their families a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. 

“Advocating for our country’s heroic service members, veterans, and their families has been the highest honor of my life, and as the daughter of a World War II veteran and prisoner of war, it is deeply personal to me.

“This Memorial Day and every day, we thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country, our freedoms, and the ideals of the greatest nation in the world. We are forever grateful to these brave men and women and their loved ones who carry on their memories.”
